Ayanna Carla de Moraes Gerôncio. MA Student, Research Assistant
I am a Computational and Cognitive Neuroscience MSc student at Eötvös Loránd University (Hungary), with a BA in Psychology from the Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (Brazil). During my Bachelor’s degree, I was able to experience a lot of clinical and social psychology, and I also have worked in a hospital setting with children, focusing on playing as a therapeutic tool. After my graduation, I worked more specifically with children with autism.
Because I still wanted to learn more about neuropsychology and neuroscience, I joined the Masters to acquire more knowledge to steer my studies and research on topics in which I am greatly interested. As a research assistant in the lab, I am involved in research on emotional flexibility investigated with EEG using the Emotional Shifting Task (EST).
