Joelle Freji. PhD Student, Research Assistant
I am a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology and Addiction Science at Eötvös Loránd University. I also hold a BA in Psychology and an MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology from ELTE.
My research focuses on executive functions, particularly inhibitory control and working memory. I am currently leading a PhD project investigating the neuromodulation of executive functions using frontal theta tACS combined with EEG, where I design and implement novel dual-task paradigms.
Alongside my research, I train students at the lab, supervise undergraduate thesis and teach personality psychology. I also supervise research assistants and take part in BA and MA student admissions processes.
In parallel, I practice as a psychologist, working with individuals and couples, and training in Schema Therapy with the ISST.
