Varga Gyorgy. PhD Student

I am currently a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Information Sciences at the University of Pannonia, with a background in Computer Science Engineering. My research focuses on developing biofeedback-based technologies to support the rehabilitation of isolation-induced mental health issues. The aim of my work is to design innovative IT systems, such as digital platforms and interactive applications, that enhance social interaction, emotional engagement, and psychological well-being through community participation and user-centered experiences.

I conduct my research under the supervision of Dr. Cecilia Sik-Lányi and Dr. Renáta Cserjési, working within an interdisciplinary framework that combines technology, psychology, and human-computer interaction to address the challenges of social isolation and mental health.

In addition to my academic work, I have industry experience as a Sales Data Analyst at Bourns, where I work with global datasets and business processes. My technical background includes software development, data engineering, and the design of interactive systems, with particular interest in Unity-based applications and virtual environments.

Outside of research, I enjoy developing games in Unity 3D and am actively involved in sports, including volleyball coaching at the university level. These activities reflect my passion for creativity, teamwork, and building engaging experiences both in digital and real-world environments
