Mohsen Sedaghatkish . PhD student, research assistant

I am a PhD student in psychology at Eötvös Loránd University under the supervision of Prof. Renáta Cserjési. My current research focuses on cognitive flexibility under different emotional states, combining EEG, ERP, and eye-tracking methods with a special emphasis on eye-fixation related potentials (EFRP).

I hold an MSc in Cognitive Psychology from the Institute for Cognitive Science Studies (ICSS), where my thesis investigated the interaction between attention and perception in facial attractiveness using eye-tracking techniques.

Alongside my academic path, I gained extensive clinical and research experience at Gilan Clinic, where I worked with patients with ADHD, autism, and OCD, and trained in neuropsychological assessment as well as brain stimulation techniques.

My broader research interests include attention, perception, emotion, executive functions, and neurocognitive interventions. My research skills include EEG/ERP/EFRP, eye-tracking, psychophysics, brain stimulation, neuropsychological assessment, experimental design with PsychoPy, E-Prime, Presentation and Experiment Builder, data processing using MATLAB and Data Viewer, and statistical analysis with SPSS and R.
